Surface Preparation & Coating Removal
From 20 years experience working on various projects within the Offshore / Onshore industrial sectors at home and abroad Sureclean have developed an extensive knowledge on the various techniques available for surface preparation to meet the required standards of SSPC and NACE.
It is with this experience in mind that we have set out to develop a highly trained workforce with the capabilities to meet all our clients’ requirements from mechanical preparation through to UHP water Blasting.
From our Alness base we have the capability to handle large volumes of steelwork should it be in a prefabricated / fabricated condition or removal of existing coatings. This can be achieved by using one of the following techniques.
- Automated Blast Unit – Contained blast unit that uses recyclable steel shot.
- Blast Shed – Which can be used for all forms of grit / abrasive blasting i.e. Dry Grit Blasting, Slurry Blasting, Quill Blasting.
- UHP Water blasting – Working at pressures up to 36,000psi.
- UHP Water surface preperation with vacuum recovery sytem.
All of the above techniques are capable of producing up to an SA3 standard.
As well as having the ability and equipment packages to deal with large projects we also have the capability to carry out the smaller remedial projects somestimes required by the client. i.e. Mechanical preperation,Chemical sripping.
We also have the capability to carry out these techniques as field projects should it be in an offshore / inshore environment.
Sureclean have learnt with experiance over the years that the best way to obtain reliabilty and minimise downtime with all equipment is for us to supply our own. This ensures we have have control over all servicing and maintinence and therefore this allows us to deliver the equipment package to meet our clients needs.
